Growing Tips & Maintenance
- Grows best in an average to moist, well-drained soil, in dappled to full shade. It will also tolerate a dry shady area, provided the soil has good nutrient levels. Easy-care perennial, spreading by rhizomes to form colonies.
Additional Notes
- Native to many parts of Europe, and invasive in Ontario. All parts of the plant may cause severe discomfort if ingested. Consider using Polygonatum biflorum instead of the non-native P. multiflorum.
