Beauty of Botany

I am Amanda Dietrich, a local artist from Cambridge, Ontario. I am an avid gardener who grows, collects and presses the plant material I use to create my own unique art form. This became my style of art over many years as a culmination of my love for plants, animals and art.

Each piece is carefully crafted with love and attention to detail using over 30 species of plants. Every flower or leaf is strategically placed to produce a silhouette including a heart-shaped leaf in the chest of each animal.
