  • This Japanese maple cultivar can be trained to grow more upright, or left to cascade and mound naturally. Likes protection from drying winds and hot afternoon sun. Grows best in a slightly moist, fertile soil. Add mulch regularly, but avoid heaping the mulch against the stem.
